This volume of the Identity Series contains the modern Armenian rendition of three manuscript versions of Koryun’s The Life of Mashtots, prepared by manuscript expert A. Matevosyan. The notes to the first and most complete version are by Manuk Abeghyan—revised and freed from the imprint of Soviet ideology. The Life of Mashtots by Koryun is the first original work written in the Armenian alphabet.
