C’est ce qui fait la valeur de ce témoignage qui porte sur une tranche de vie de 8 ans pendant laquelle toutes les rencontres entre Dieu et l’auteure furent plus convaincantes, plus belles et plus fréquentes au fil du temps. Claudette DETANGER est née en 1945 d’une mère athée et d’un père catholique, elle fut baptisée à l’âge de deux ans, mais ne reçut aucune éducation religieuse. Elle fit des études de gestion (HECjf) et fit une carrière de directeur financier. Mariée à un catholique pratiquant, il la convertit au catholicisme. En 2014, elle rencontra Dieu à travers le Christ et s’engagea comme bénévole au service de l’Église.

Married to a practicing Catholic, she converted to his religion and had two children. In 2014, she had a first encounter with God through Christ and from that moment on, she committed herself to serving her parish most of her time.
