Treasure island. E-book. Formato EPUB Robert Louis Stevenson   -  Sis Publishing, 2014  -

“Sir, with no intention to take offence, I deny your right to put words into my mouth.” – from Treasure Island One of the classic adventure stories in literature, first published in 1881, Treasure Island transcends its time and genre and remains at this very day not only an exquisite page-turner, but also a wonderful portrayal of conflict and character. We as the reader may be assured that, even though Treasure Island is in some ways much more romantic than entirely realistic, it is definitely true to its place and time. This novel might be read simply for enjoying an adventure or exciting story without trying to see any references or encoding any metaphors, since combing it for experience or moral guidelines may be to miss the point completely, although the novel does yield some of each. Robert Lewis Stevenson’s narrative genius and sheer encouraging revelation of his characters turns this novel into a masterpiece that may be easily read and well understood despite the many years since its first publication till now.
