Diego Saglia è professore ordinario di letteratura inglese all’Università di Parma. Specialista dell’epoca romantica, le sue ricerche riguardano il gotico, l’esotismo e l’orientalismo, la traduzione e i rapporti interculturali, la costruzione dell’identità nazionale e di genere. Tra le sue pubblicazioni recenti: European Literatures in Britain, 1815-1832. Romantic Translations (Cambridge University Press 2019), una nuova traduzione del Manfred di Lord Byron (Marsilio 2019) e A Cultural History of Tragedy in the Age of Empire (con Michael Gamer, Bloomsbury 2020).
