Reich was a predecessor to most body psychotherapeutic methods applied today.»Bioenergetic Analysis« serves as an international platform. Its purpose is to further elaborate theoretical concepts and to make links to and enhance communication with other schools of therapy, with proponents of academic psychology, medicine and psychosomatics. The journal also publishes reports on empirical research and single case studies. These activities facilitate the processes of evaluating the feasibility of our theoretical concepts and the effectiveness of our applied method, as well as improving our clinical work. Although there exist other periodicals published by national Bioenergetic societies, »Bioenergetic Analysis.
