The enneagram outlines the true nature of what motivates our psychological and spiritual being while graphic movement is an unconscious process recorded on paper through the movements of our hand. Ognigraphy is a highly individualized phenomenon that reflects the dynamic synthesis of the existential history, of the biological constitution and of the mental and emotional states of each of us. Our enneatype plays a fundamental role in the way we manifest ourselves in the world, inevitably also influencing our graphic movement. This makes it possible to investigate the links between the enneagram and the graphology. Our handwriting is an objective expression of ourselves and as such it is a valuable support for the identification of our enneatype and also allows us to verify the changes that have occurred over time. This series of articles - in English - explores the patterns of the graphic movement of the nine types of the heneagram and introduces the potentials of the integrated use of enneagram and graphology as a means of self-knowledge and understanding of others.

Il libro presenta un confronto tra la passione predominante, elemento centrale del metodo grafologico italiano, elaborato da Girolamo Moretti, con la passione dominante dell'enneagramma dei tipi psicologici, come definita da Claudio Naranjo. In ambedue i modelli, la passione è considerata fondamento dello sviluppo della personalità, ma anche mezzo imprescindibile per l'evoluzione consapevole del proprio essere. La quasi perfetta assonanza dei due termini non è casuale, ma rimanda a profonde convergenze epistemologiche, che permettono dimostrare la modernità di Moretti e l'organicità dinamica del suo sistema, che contempla l'uomo nella propria totalità di corpo, psiche e spirito, in piena sintonia con le teorie più avanzate del nostro tempo.
