This book is written with the best interests of dogs in mind. I believe it is time to go beyond training dogs and start teaching them how to please us. Assuming that dogs are capable of reasoning and simple problem solving, i feel dogs need not be trained as if they were merely simple stimulus response mice. The teaching methods presented in this book encourage and cultivate dogs’ cognitive abilities. I believe dogs learn by trial and error. As a result, the dogs do not fear disappointment and are trained to exercise alternatives in a quest for the desired behavior. The concept that wrong is wonderful when training dogs is fresh to the domain of competitive dog trainers. What you’ll learn:Dog training: gentle, science-backed methods that help guide your dog toward calmness and cooperation.Dog anxiety: discover the root causes of anxiety in dogs and how to create a safe, supportive environment for your pet.Reactive dog: step-by-step strategies to manage and reduce reactivity, helping your dog feel more secure in stressful situations.Dog behaviour: gain insights into your dog’s psychology to better understand their needs and triggers.Pet dog training: practical tips for real-life scenarios, from walking a reactive dog to handling unexpected challenges calmly. This book covers everything you need to know about training your dog effectively, from understanding their behavior and instincts to mastering essential commands and addressing problem behaviors. Vie de Guillaume Farel. E-book. Formato EPUB Frances Bevan - Books On Demand, 2023 -
