Have you ever thought about what will remain of you after your existence on planet Earth?I often think about it, but it's not a fear of dying, I call it a desire to live as long as possible, but how long is unknown.As I write and collect poems for this book, I have been thinking about what will remain of me on this Earth. I'm not talking about material possessions or good or bad actions I have taken. I'm talking about emotions, feelings, and caresses that I have given to someone. Nobody ever thinks about leaving a will for these things, almost nobody remembers to put in writing an emotion they have felt, to leave a trace of the deepest part of their humanity.I want to leave on my path, from my tiny existence, small living pebbles, the echo of my emotions transformed into verses, hoping that if someone were to search for me tomorrow, they would know where to find me.I would like to be, for those who love me, like the light of a star that can still be seen from Earth, actually extinguished, who knows how many millions of years ago."My footprins on the world" poems by Nuccio Coriale.

Avete mai pensato a quello che resterà di voi, dopo il vostro esistere sul pianeta terra?Io ci penso spesso, ma la mia non è paura di morire, io la chiamo voglia di vivere il più a lungo possibile, ma quanto non si sa.Scrivendo e raccogliendo le poesie per questo libro ho pensato proprio a quello che resterà di me su questa terra, non parlo di beni materiali o di azioni belle o brutte che ho fatto. Parlo di emozioni, di sentimenti, di carezze che ho fatto a qualcuno. Di tutto questo nessuno mai pensa di lasciare testamento, quasi nessuno si ricorda di lasciare per iscritto un’emozione che ha provato, lasciare traccia della parte più profonda della sua umanità.Io della mia minuscola esistenza, voglio lasciare cadere sul mio cammino, piccole pietruzze vive, l’eco delle mie emozioni trasformate in versi, sperando che, se qualcuno domani mi cercasse saprà dove trovarmi.Vorrei essere per chi mi vuole bene, come la luce di una stella che dalla terra ancora se ne vede il barlume, in realtà spenta, chissà quanti milioni di anni fa.“Le mie tracce sul mondo” poesie di Nuccio Coriale
