This richly illustrated monograph, published in conjunction with his large-scale solo exhibition at the Kunstmuseum St.Gallen, presents his latest participatory projects, which explore the intertwined themes of voice, community, and ecological transformation. Featuring essays by international authors, as well as a conversation between Karikis and artist-collaborators Sonia Boyce and Zineb Sedira, the publication offers a comprehensive view of Karikis's experimental and socially engaged approach. Like the artist's audiovisual compositions, the book is an invitation to listen more attentively-to others, to the environment, and to the political power of sound.
