The characters in these tales are almost all reflected in the crystalclear sea of lower Sulcis, Sardinia. In doing so they look out into the cliff of time allowing it to see into them. Beyond the setting, the common thread that binds them is precisely this relationship, this confrontation directly or indirectly with the ineffable reflections of the relationship between space and time. Chronos is the engine of these tales, in its becoming a curve, a spiral that generates a universe, if you will a multiverse. The narrative, in fact tries to play with the junctions, the forks of life. It is in this way that the narratives often find themselves poised between the possible and the real. At times they seem to slide on a brittle ridge, where the contours of the concrete fray leaving room for the improbable ... yet still possible. On the other hand paraphrasing Nietzsche he who has a strong enough why ... can overcome any how.

Los personajes de estos cuentos se reflejan casi todos en el mar cristalino de la región del bajo Sulcis, en Cerdeña. Al hacerlo, se asoman al precipicio del tiempo, permitiendo que éste vea dentro de ellos. Más allá del decorado, el hilo rojo que los une es precisamente esta relación, esta confrontación directa o indirecta con los reflejos inefables de la relación entre el espacio y el tiempo. Chronos es el motor de estos relatos, en su devenir una curva, una espiral que genera un universo, si se quiere un multiverso. La narración, de hecho, intenta jugar con los cruces, las bifurcaciones de la vida. De este modo, las historias se encuentran a menudo entre lo posible y lo real. A veces parecen deslizarse por una cresta temblorosa, donde los contornos del hormigón se deshilachan, dejando espacio para lo improbable... y sin embargo posible. Por otra parte - parafraseando a Nietzsche - quien tiene una razón lo suficientemente fuerte... puede superar cualquier cómo.
